Malaysian Pondok Development Foundation (MPDF)
VISION & MISSION
The main goal The establishment of YPPM is to give recognition to pondok study institutions and pondok residents who have contributed a lot to the development and development of Islamic education and produced many religious scholars. It is also to recognize the service and dedication of scholars, teachers and head teachers in producing a generation of students who are proficient in religious knowledge and Al-Quran study.
The Foundation will assist and collaborate with government agencies, private sector and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to develop, develop and expand lodge learning institutions to ensure their survival. The image of the backward and marginalized pondok education system must be improved, while the perception of pondok students as second-class students, bigots or extremists must be scrapped altogether.
Mission YPPM is to dignify and ensure that lodge institutions in this country are more viable and able to maintain their survival. YPPM will play an important role in efforts to improve the ability and success of pondok institutions to carry out the responsibility of producing knowledgeable and resourceful citizens.
Writing of "Yayasan Pondok" forming an image of a person praying symbolizes the nature of the people who are humble, always doing good with the religious knowledge they have learned and also the nature of the people who are highly knowledgeable and pious The two stripes that make up the rehal image symbolize the traditional way of learning knowledge in the lodge institution The combination of these two colors symbolizes the knowledge revealed by Allah SWT to the face of the earth as wide as the boundless sky. Two colors which are brown which symbolizes the earth or land and blue which symbolizes the sky. The color brown also symbolizes maturity and an attitude of responsibility and symbolizes a state of humility and always take care of dignity Blue is a cool, peaceful and prosperous color that symbolizes sincerity, stability, peace and authenticity
MPDF ORGANIZATION CHART

Unlike neighboring countries (Indonesia & Thailand) we do not have complete information about the lodge. The available information is not much, isolated and scattered

Although the pondok study system has been established in Malaysia since hundreds of years ago, there has been no serious and specific effort to develop a comprehensive and centralized database.

If asked how many lodges there are in Malaysia, no one can give an accurate and convincing answer. YPPM took the initiative to conduct a census and publish hutok profiles for public use.
